BQ simply means Boys’ Quarter. But do you know there are 2 types of Boys’ Quarters. (1)   Detached Boys’ Quarter:   Means Boys’ Quarter that is standing on it own, not attached to the main building. It is usually at the back of the main building within the same compound. Nowadays most developers don’t build this kind of Boys Quarter again.
